Fun Food

Saft means juice.
It's also pretty good on other sorts of sea-going men.
cupcakes are not common here
A jar of an ear of corn
We've been here for 5 1/2 months now, and we've seen some interesting food. Some of it is funny because of the translations, or just because the German sounds funny in English. Some of it is just odd because they aren't the sort of thing we eat in the US. I've seen them in stores, restaurants, and all over. I'll share some of them here with you.
Cat tongues

Mm hm

Does it need a caption, really?
Corn yogurt
All pirates have smiley balls
Pizza with an egg seems pretty common

Mmm... Spider Man
Bearlogna!
Wine juicy boxes

The French extra charge has a special something you just can't find elsewhere.
They're huge!

Mmm... Wiener ice cream
In Amsterdam

  1. I love love love reading your European Adventures! Here are a couple of tips: Take a Dickmans and put it in the microwave (put it on a plate first) put it on for 15 seconds and see what happens! ;o)
Also, take a dickmans and eat it on a broetchen. Just smash it on there! It's delicious. A dickman is the german version of a smore, (that's my story and I am sticking to it! ;o) )
Do you like to bake? I might have to let you know what the best stuff is that I just can't get here.

  2. Ooh, the dickman in the microwave sounds good! Let me know if you want me to send you anything, Anja. I can mail stuff pretty easily from the APO box, so it just costs what it would from NY. :)
