Money, Money, Money or Stuff - Part 2

So far, one of my major sources of angst has been money. Not becasue we don't have any, but becasue I'm having difficulty deciding where to spend it. While we're here, I really want to travel as much as we can. Chances are, we won't have an opportunity like this again, and Em is going to get too old to enjoy traveling with her parents.

But, there are other things we "need." Sure, we could live out of boxes, but buying the linen closet and bookshelves will make our house less like a storage facility. I could sweep the tile every day, but we're a clumsy people, and we break a lot of glasses. Sweeping just doesn't get up all the little pieces of glass. All of our appliances are 110, and anything with a motor will eventually die on a transformer. So, we've spent some money on a vacuum, a toaster oven, a heating pad, etc. There are other things, too, like new clothes. Not necessary for the adults, but certainly nice to be able to get when you find yourself in long sleeves and jeans on what turns out to be a very hot day in Luxembourg.

So, I stress about that a bit. I know I shouldn't complain, since I'm really just making decisions on whether to see castles in Germany or Palaces in Paris, but I still do.
