It took us about 3 hours to get there. When we got up to the park, we saw that it was Star Wars weekend. There were all sorts of people dressed up as Star Wars characters, and there were huge Lego Star Wars dioramas. Max & Em were thrilled! We got pictures with Tuscan Raiders, Storm Troopers, and loads of other guys. My favorite part of Star Wars weekend was seeing all of the dressed up people on the rides.
Max & Em seemed to have a lot of fun, but I was a bit disappointed. We had just been to the Legoland in California for New Year's Eve, and this one is rather wimpy in comparison, at least for me.There are a lot of activities for little kids, but not so many for older kids or adults.
On the way home, we stopped at an Esso for gas. I was going to take a little nap, but it turned out to not work out that way. While we were getting gas, I heard Max say from outside, "I don't know, you'll have to ask Karen." Damn. It was a 19 year old girl trying to hitchhike to her Dad's. She asked if we could just take her as far as we could, and drop her at another gas station that would get her to Wurtzburg. I said yes. I don't really know why, other than she was little, and I felt that between Max & I, we could take her if she turned violent. Em was in the front, since I had been planning to nap in the back, so she was out of the way. Anyway, she ended up being a very nice girl. She had left Milan that morning, and was trying to get to her dad. Why her dad couldn't have driven the 2 hours to pick her up, I don't know. It was getting dark, though, and we didn't want to just drop her at another gas station. Since Wurzburg only added about 30 minutes to our trip, we just took her all the way there.
Emma says- Legoland was really fun, and that's where I discovered how snap happy I can really get. The jungle ride had so many Lego animals, and I took pictures of all of them. (Karen says - she really did)
