Euros have different backs depending on where they were minted. Sometimes, countries will have a different back for each denomination, sometimes several (or all) will be the same. Euros come in different denominations than we're used to in the US. for coins, they have .01, .02, .05, which all look rather like differently sized pennies; .10, .20, .50, which are all gold-colored, 1 EUR coins, which are silver with a gold border, and 2 EUR coins which are gold with a silver border. (I'm just talking color, not real gold & silver.) They're paper money doesn't start until 5 EUR.
This is a map of the coins we've seen so far.
