Max's Birthday

Max turned 40 in May. We had a costume party, just 'cause. We have about a bajillion costumes, so we loaned out a bunch to people who didn't have their own. I was really impressed with some of the costumes that people came up with on their own, and with how well they accessorized the ones we lent them. :) We had a lot of fun. We invited some of our neighbors - Eva & Philip from next door, and Nicholas and his family from 2 doors down. Eva couldn't come, but the others did. Philip is a very straight-laced sort of guy, so he didn't come in costume, but he still seemed to have fun. He discovered that he really liked Hint of Lime Tostitos! Nicolas & his family all dressed up! It was great to get to know some of our German neighbors better.
