Stuff!

A sticker for each "item" in our stuff
We packed out the house in MD February 5th. We got our stuff in Germany April 12th. Not bad for an overseas move, actually. It took us 3 months to get our stuff from HI to MD. Having stuff is wonderful. It was getting really difficult to live with the loaner furniture and the little bit of our stuff that I had mailed over. I think having our own beds & couches is the best part. And more clothes. It started to get a bit warm for a bit in April, and I hadn't packed any short sleeves. Of course, as happens with almost every one of our moves, we don't have enough places to put everything. There aren't any closets here at all, so luckily the Army lets us have wardrobes while we're here. We had basic furniture with us, so we have drawers & such, but in MD, our main bookshelf was built in, and it was huge. We also had a linen closet. So, most of our books and all of our linens were without a home here until quite recently. There was a sale at Ikea, so we got a linen closet & a couple of Billys. I have yet to unpack the books, but I will soon. Swear.

Emma says - It was easy to find my stuffed animals, and they are now strewn all over my room. Life is normal again.
